After meeting in San Diego alongside NeurIPS in early December 2025, the International Network of AI Safety Institutes became the International Network for Advanced AI Measurement, Evaluation and Science. Its members are Australia, Canada, the EU, France, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Singapore, the UK and the US, and the UK takes the role of network coordinator.

Why it matters

Labs testing with these government institutes now deal with a network framed around evaluation methods, with the UK coordinating shared testing work.
