NVIDIA introduces DSX POD, containerised Vera Rubin AI factories built in the factory and delivered in early 2027

See how this story connects

At GTC Berlin NVIDIA introduced DSX POD, a reference design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories that partners build inside modular containers, integrating and validating computing, networking, cabling, rack power and liquid cooling before shipment. NVIDIA says a unit connects to a prepared site’s power, cooling and networking and cuts deployment time from six months to as little as 14 days. Partners named for delivery worldwide in early 2027 include Anduril, Armada, Bull, Crusoe, DayOne, Dell Technologies, Delta, Eaton, Foxconn (Ingrasys), GIGABYTE, HPE, Lenovo, Pegatron, QCT, Schneider Electric, Vertiv and Wistron. Jensen Huang said an AI factory creates value when it starts producing tokens, not when construction is complete.

Why it matters

NVIDIA is selling the data centre as a product shipped in containers, which moves the bottleneck for new AI capacity from construction to power and site preparation.
