Alibaba made Qwen3.8-Max generally available, a 2.4-trillion-parameter model with 95 billion active parameters built on the Qwen3.5 architecture, and said it would release the weights the following week, the first open-weights Qwen-Max-class model. It had previewed the model in mid-July.
