President Lee Jae Myung launched the National AI Strategy Committee on 8 September 2025 and chairs it, with Lim Moon-young as standing vice chair. The 50 members include 13 ministers and 34 people from industry, universities and research. The committee set out to publish an AI action plan with 12 strategic areas by November and discussed incentives for companies to help build a national AI computing centre.
