Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) launched the Indonesian Banking Artificial Intelligence Governance guide in Jakarta on 29 April 2025, presented by banking supervision chief Dian Ediana Rae. It covers AI across the system life cycle and bank uses such as customer service, pricing, compliance, risk management and fraud prevention. It ties AI use to the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27/2022).
