Cooperate with AI measures carried out by the national government and local governments.

Scope

Read in the official Japanese text on e-Gov (Act No. 53 of 2025); the Japanese Law Translation database returned HTTP 403, so the Cabinet Office provisional English overview was used as a cross-check. Applies to 'utilising businesses' that develop or provide AI-based products or services or use AI in business. The Japanese text says 'shall cooperate'; the Cabinet Office English overview says 'endeavor to cooperate'. Art. 7 also asks them to endeavour to use AI actively. The schema has no cooperation type; public-sector-use is the nearest fit.

Penalty. No penalty in the Act.
