Black Forest Labs published FLUX.3 Image Klein, an open image generation model that runs in Diffusers on day one. The model handles text-to-image and multi-reference image-to-image tasks, and adds layout control via bounding boxes in prompts. Two open checkpoints are available: a distilled version generating 1024×1024 images in 16 steps on an H100, and a base model using 50 steps with classifier-free guidance.

Why it matters

Developers can generate images with spatial layout control and reference-based editing using a single model available in multiple quantized formats for different GPU memory constraints.
