The City of Baltimore sued X in city circuit court over Grok’s image tools, alleging they let users create sexualised edits of real people, including children, and that Grok generated about 3 million sexualised images between 29 December 2025 and 8 January 2026, about 23,000 of which appear to depict children. The city asks the court to stop the practice and require changes to the platform’s design and marketing.
