Source: MDDI: AI initiatives launched to uplift Singapore’s economic potential

Singapore’s Budget Statement on 16 February 2024 committed more than S$1 billion over five years to AI compute, talent and industry development. MDDI’s 1 March breakdown includes up to S$500 million for high-performance compute, over S$20 million over three years to expand practitioner training toward 15,000 practitioners, and S$7 million for an AI Accelerated Masters Programme.
