See how this story connectsHong Kong’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data published the “Artificial Intelligence: Model Personal Data Protection Framework” on 11 June 2024. It covers organisations that procure, implement and use AI systems involving personal data, in four parts: AI strategy and governance, risk assessment and human oversight, customisation and management of AI systems, and communication with stakeholders. The framework is guidance under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and is not binding law.
