OpenAI launched ChatGPT Edu on 30 May 2024, a version of ChatGPT for universities with GPT-4o, custom GPTs shared inside a campus workspace, admin controls and a commitment not to train on users’ data. It named Oxford, Wharton, UT Austin, Arizona State and Columbia as universities already using ChatGPT Enterprise.
