Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) launched a national AI Centre of Excellence in Jakarta on 11 July 2025 with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, NVIDIA and Cisco. Its six pillars include a secure sandbox, training, a startup accelerator and a platform for national language models, and Indosat’s Lintasarta is to supply NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 compute. Cisco set a target of training another 500,000 Indonesians by 2030.
