The UAE created a federal Artificial Intelligence and Data Authority reporting to the Cabinet, merging the UAE AI Office, the digital government sector of the telecoms regulator TDRA and the Emirates Data Office. It will set national AI and data policy, propose laws and standards, and drive compliance by federal bodies, led by the Minister of State for AI.
