Trump executive order launches Genesis Mission for AI-driven science at DOE
President Trump signed an executive order creating the Genesis Mission, led by the Department of Energy with White House science-office coordination. It directs DOE to join national-laboratory supercomputers, datasets and AI models into one platform to automate experiment design and speed simulation, with NSF, NIST and NIH among participating agencies.
