Who audits the hiring algorithm?

Are the rules on AI in hiring and firing actually being applied, or are they being softened?

The first generation of AI-hiring rules, from New York City's bias audits to Colorado's AI Act and the EU's high-risk regime, has been weakly enforced, repealed or delayed. Protection is shifting to civil-rights liability, notice duties and human review of AI-driven firing.
